THE BOX SESSIONS

The Box Sessions™ are a series of gatherings that celebrate community and cultivate creativity in a variety of artistic fields.

They are based on five principles:

  1. Choosing to live a creative life is a fundamentally brave act.
  2. You are creative even if you don’t think you are.
  3. We are the stories we tell ourselves.
  4. Curiosity and wonder are essential elements of a creative life.
  5. Everyone needs a community.
The inaugural Box Sessions, organized by Sant Epernay, LLC, was held in February 2020 and featured Samin Nosrat, star of the Netflix hit Salt Fat Acid Heat; Jon M. Chu, director of Crazy Rich Asians and In The Heights; Jonathan Franzen, author and National Book Award winner; Domee Shi, who won an Oscar for her film Bao; The Moth and more.
